Unigene Valley Extreme HD

My effort tonight after setting my ram up and fixing my Sli issues from yesterday as well.

For some reason, when I take a screen shot of the results, it only captures my desktop :( If someone can help me out there, it would be appreciated.

Cheers...

@netwalker - save the result and when you open it, it should show your score in a browser. From there you should have no problems taking a screen shot.

Does valley really like hexacores or is it that everybody who has one is running their cards under water and everything clocked to the maximum? A few pages back people were saying 105fps was below par for 2x 780's despite quite a few people getting similar results and the 2x 780Ti's are only a few frames ahead. Or is it the new nvidia drivers slowing things down a little?

Well, looks like my system is massively inferior to the ones of all the other folks here >_<

No

If anything quads are better as you can overclock them a bit more. Valley is all about raw CPU speed (the number of cores/threads don't matter) to avoid bottlenecking the GPUs. If you are running one GPU no problem, two GPUs things get a bit more difficult and if you use three or more GPUs it is a waste of time running them on Valley as they cause the worst bottleneck I have ever seen.

Thanks, better clock higher then :)

Here are my valley scores

GTX 780 TI -- Score 3832 -- FPS 91.6

GTX 780 -- Score 3562 -- FPS 85.1

GTX 780 SLI -- Score 5862 -- FPS 140.1

finally got around to torture my 7970, and im pretty satisfied with my scores

FPS:49.7
Score:2080
Min FPS:22.6
Max FPS:92.2

gpu clocked at 1213 mhz and mem at 1609 (odd numbers, but it was what afterburner was willing to do) at the same time i managed to get a 3dmark11 pscore of 11935, so im quite happy with my little card, that being said, i'll still keep it at 1100/1500 since its more than enough for 1080 gaming, and oc does add a fair amount of heat...

Disappointed  this card does well on the ram and gets a decent core clock, but it really doesn't show.

update:

apparently having the second monitor plugged in can screw with scores....

ill update later
