Similar situation here... Got the iPhone 4 on release day on an 18 month contract so could upgrade on the 25th Nov if I wanted.

This year though I think I'll wait until my contract runs out and I'll just buy the phone outright and get a SIM only contract. Works out plenty cheaper over here.

Having an iPhone (or a phone with an apple of the back if you prefer) doesn't make you an Apple fanboy.

I quite dislike Apple apart from the phones. Well not even so much the phone as IOS.

Upgrades don't necessarily cost that much overall as you can sell your previous phone for a pretty hefty price still.

yes and doesnt have a apple on the back off it or be part of a fanboy scene oh well your iphone4s will be out of date in 5 months and you'll have to pay $1000000000000000000000000 for a new upgrade for no reason
