I'm afraid i wouldnt know. Your best bet is to drop IDNet an email. They should be able to tell ya ;)

Ok thanks mate will do. I doubt they support LLU migration as I don't think any ISPs do yet. It could be a long process anyway as I will have to 1) get Bulldog off my line 2)Get BT to take over the phone line and 3) sign up with idnet!!

Ramedge,

Did IDNet manage to upgrade your connection from 1Mb to 2Mb despite being told my BT that your tel line would only support 1Mb?

It would be interesting to know as I'm in a similar position i.e. cant get 2Mb but can get 1Mb.Hopefully, should be with IDNet very shortly. Cant wait!!

BT wouldnt allow the force upgrade to be tried :( so no 2mb For me.

any way was worth a try and is worth a try if your in a similar position because sometimes BT will try the upgrade so do ask!

[I have just sorted out my payments with Simon.I must say IDNET are unlike any other ISP I have ever had dealings with. They are friendly, informal and a joy to do buisness with. Long may it last

XMS is at work at the moment and pretty busy at that.

Might be a good idea to e-mail him: xms (at) mailxtreme (dot) com

Like I said - he is busy at the mo so please bear with him :)

Hi mate. Do I need to address my question to anyone in particular, or can I just send it directly through the idnet website?

I'd just fill out the contatc form on the site :)

Just thought i'd add another thumbs up for simon, very helpful chap. Should be connected before new year thanks to him.

I've got a migration date for 26th December.

I wonder if it will actually happen then considering no-one will be working on 25th, 26th, 27th & 28th.
