No no, I'm pretty sure that Bulldog are!! Well put it this way, I have been with them for almost 5 months now and I haven't received a single bill that has been correct yet!

lol thats prity bad

but tiscali are slow internet there phones are impossible to get through to and there internet surport is automated

Fee for changing DL rate?

I'm on 512Kbps with my current provider, I would like 2Mbps but my line won't support it :(

I should be able to get 1Mbps though.

Anyway, my question is:

If I migrate to IDNet but to the 1Mbps service from my existing 512, will there be a fee to pay (I'm thinking BT will have to do something to get it to work)?

Thanks.

I went two years with eclipse without recieving a single bill. Needless to say they got me in the end, but they were quite nice about it considering I really should have told them. Sorry drifting off topic again..

I'm currently waiting to join you all on the IDNet bandwagon - amazed if they're actually making money out of this deal, seems almost too good to be true.

Put rather simply - No, you dont have to pay for a speed upgrade!

Think of this offer more as a gift from IDNet to SysXtreme members. Just remember to say thank you by telling others about the services that IDNet offer on their site.

Just got activated and I'm already loving it :D The process was absolutely straight forward, and I won't hesitate to recommend IDnet. Well done guys :worship:

Well to cut the story short I was originally with BB and ended up losing my phone line with them after months of agony. Now on a new BT line.

Either e-mail xms (at) mailxtreme (dot) com or give IDNET themselves a call mate

If your current ISP is cable then I expect you'll have to pay full £40 :(

Does anyone know the answer to my question re. migrating from an LLU provider?

I'm afraid i wouldnt know. Your best bet is to drop IDNet an email. They should be able to tell ya ;)

IDNet currently don't support LLU, so you have to go down to IPStream 2000, rather than 8meg, but they are going to support it in the near future (not sure how long though and it could be adsl2 rather than LLU).

My line was activated today and connected to IDNet without a problem. I could certainly get used to this broadband .:)

Big thanks XMS and to the folks at IDNet for making this available.

I had a worrying moment on my way out this morning when I discovered a crew with a digger attacking the cabinet which routes all the phone lines for our village. However all is well and it looks like we finally have some new hardware. The BT guys will heave a sigh of relief, as there's usually one of them praying in front of that box every time it rains!

Looking at IDNet's old website their portfolio is quite impressive, and I've already been able to recommend them to a friend who's looking at a web business startup. Looks like they've been too busy signing us all up to finish off their new website!

Well I'm connected to IDNET after being an idiot and getting the login details wrong (damn font type makes an "L" look like a "1" :o

LOL

Seems great so far - pretty quick :)
