Access denied Access denied

Every freakin sub folder within the account holders folder is access denied within Vista.

I`m reinstalling this pc, so if any1 can tell me why in the account holders folder->documents->stuff is access denied for everything, I`d be glad to know.

Probably becasue they are set to private? I have that problem on other peoples PCs with Xp as well. When they make a new account they dont click on unprivate.

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Turn user account control on or off

Turn it off I think this should solve the problem?

I see paranoia lol? You see that is the hard way, turning it off and trying to access the folder will rule out any software error . Ofcourse it's best to have it ON, but Windows definately annoys me with all the popups . I couldn't install anything even as administrator, I got kicked by PunkBuster everytime .

UAC ftl honestly. I dont even have it in my install anymore.

UAC isn`t the answer, I can`t access the folders on the pc without UAC.

It is about file/folder onwership... you need to take ownership or add to the permissions list.

Oh, and yeah UAC is the poo.
