Watch Dogs Pc specs

GTA IV is six years older, i think it's quite impressive how well it keeps up even without mods. Then again GTA is on the sandbox throne and no game will kick it down anytime soon. But as you said, GTA and WD aren't a whole lot alike. I think WD should be compared to games like Infamous.

I've modded GTA4 a lot and it can looks amazingly gorgeous, I hope WD has mod support :)

Yeha, i'd say it is more like Infamous or Sleeping Dogs.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a copy of watch dogs for relatively cheap.

I got my key from here.

God sake be quiet people, "ugh console port" well I did the right thing for buying this on PS4, slate consoles all you want but its you lot that won't be playing it on PC.

The PS4 version of the game only runs at 900p/30FPS

I'm trying to play the game at 1600p/60fps - I do get 60 FPS, the issue I have is input lag. The frames per second is fine.

In my opinion 30 FPS is not next gen gaming.

Is the PS4 version 30fps? I thought it was 900 at 60?

Either way though from what I've seen the game looks great on it and runs well, which means at least I can play it.

I just don't see the problem with gamers of different platforms slating each other, who gives a s*** and at the end of the day the PS4 costs £380, and there are more expensive GPUs for PC than that. Not to mention there are games that wipe the floor with PC graphics wise, if anyone has MGS on PS4, that opening scene just laughs at PC.

And if I wanted Watch Dogs on PC I'd get it, but I saw this would happen and I'm not spending money on another game after Battlefield for it to not work for months. No wonder I barely play games anymore, all the bull crap bugs and farting around just for a game to work is ridiculous. Like I said, it shouldn't be legal.

According to Ubisoft it is 900p/30 FPS on the PS4 and 792p/30FPS on the XBOX ONE

And honestly you're the one who has come in this thread and started mouthing off about how you're going to be enjoying it on a PS4 and laughing at how it performs on our killer PC's.

None of us here were putting consoles down until you showed up gloating about a game you don't even have yet.

If you noticed earlier when I said be quite with all the "ohh it's a nasty console port"...

It feels like a console port. The system menus are barren, offer very little options, the input lag is bad, the general performance is poor and the graphics don't look amazing for the amount of resources they are using.

These are all the signature signs of an unoptimised console port to PC. They optimise it perfectly for the console hardware and just recompile it for PC and add a few menus, leaving us with disastreous performance.

Now since this is a "Watch Dogs PC Specs" thread and not a "PS4 is better than PC" thread perhaps you can find the browser close button.

Do you even have a console because most PC guys don't so unless you've actually tried a PS4 or Xbox One your point is invalid.

I didn't say PS4 is better, if you look at my sig I have a gaming PC too. I'm saying I got it for console because I wasn't having another game after BF4 run like s***, but now because it does, you blame consoles.

17 hours to go according to Steam and then the lag fest can commence :D

Oh and for all the "Console port BS" Ubisoft commented quite some time ago that the game was made for PC and ported to console.

Weather that's true or not remains to be seen tomorrow when it comes out along with the otimized drivers and launch day patch.

You're obviously not listening to me. What does this game on PC have to do with how well it runs on a PS4 or an XBOX ONE? - It doesn't.

I just said in my previous post, they obviously optimised the game for consoles, it is not optimised for PC. And yet you're telling me unless I own an XBOX ONE or a PS4 my opinion about the PC Performance is invalid.

You're making no sense.

By the way I just installed the new NVIDIA drivers released today and I have to take back what I said previously, the game runs fine now, no input lag. Smooth as butter.

2560x1600 @ 60 FPS

What is the RAM usage like then for PC, originally it was 6GB wasn't it until last week they said the game would run on 4GB.

Right now my system RAM usage is 1.87GB of 32GB - VRAM usage 3GB of 3GB.

This is on Ultra settings which is now playable on the new NVIDIA drivers. I'm getting 45-50 FPS on Ultra, 60 FPS on High

I just did, runs a whole lot better, like a different game. I can even play it on Ultra settings now. Input lag is completely gone too.

I hope when AMD release the new WD driver tomorrow it runs nicely too, Doubt it will run that well though as it's an Nvidia optimized title :(
