Unigene Valley Extreme HD

Yes, the newer gen of cards certainly run a lot cooler. When I was first testing my 680's on their reference air coolers I was very impressed. The things were very quiet (default fan profile) yet only hit 80c once (on the upper card) during my testing of them - I worked them hard too. They rarely get into the low-30's on water now, that's with an ambient of usually under 20c.

I used to be checking my loop all the time, especially after I had that faulty compression fitting. But, generally, I trust my work and it's somewhat over-engineered. My friend, with a similar loop, uses those bright primary-coloured plastic push-in fittings & thinks I'm daft going for good Phobya compressions through-out. My faulty compression was an EK one - smaller to fit side-by-side on their CPU blocks, but they saved much of the width by NOT having a lip to grip the tubing properly...bloody stupid, won't buy their fittings ever again.

Damn, you had an AIO leak? That's poor luck plus I bet they didn't care what it fried.

As long as you're happy with your rig that's the important thing. For me, originally with two 570's remember, the noise and worries about the heat became too much in the hotter months. Plus I really enjoyed doing the build...though my wallet did not lol.

Back on topic...crazy how my GTX 570 score is near as damn it the same as FTLN's 7950 score above at the same settings - that surprised me.

Scoob.

Honestly, am I doing something wrong because my score seems to be a little on the lean side?

Overclocked the juheebas out of my 680...

Ah, where's Kaapstad and his 4 x Watercooled Titans... (Although I know he gets a bit of grief over his Titans because 780s are 'better').

I think he gets over 5000 in Heaven and Valley seems to give higher scores. Although not sure how well Valley scales with 4 Titans as going from 2 to 3 Titans doesn't seem to offer great gains, so 3 to 4 might be worse nearing pointless?

Anyway, would be interested to see Kaapsta's score.

@1080 Valley does not scale very well using 4

Here is an old run @1600p (2560x1600) max settings

Dicehunter have you noticed any weird clocks on your 780Ti?

At my clans lan this weekend, I was playing some games and noticed mine were boosting to 1200mhz on the core, and when I added the +195 to the core it benched on this at I think it was 1395mhz.

Will post the screenshot when I get my pc setup again tomorrow as I cannot be bothered to tonight but I got a score of around 5100.

You Sir won the silicon lottery, Mine at stock boosts up to 1137 :)

*EDIT*

Got mine stable now at 1215/3610 increasing the volts through EVGA's Precision X, time to re-run Valley, Heaven etc... :D

GTX 780 1241/1782

Looks like it's seriously bottlenecked by my Phenom II X4 though (should be circa 3000 or 70-75fps average), but still a big boost from the 1330 my old 6970 achieved.

Bottle necked is the wrong word. You need to remember these benches are based on CPU too dude so the score is just lower because of that.

My 760 OC (1228 on the core, stock mem) on a 2500k @4.5

This is from my server pc, just an old E7500 stock, with my "old" msi 560 ti OC @880Mhz in it.

Here is the setup I have right now, just replaced my old i7 950 with the 4930k.

Gfx card has the OC: +132MHz core clock, +264MHz memory clocks; no voltage changes; 123% TDP allowed; stables around 75°C with stock 690 cooler.

CPU: i7-4930k @ 4.5GHz as 44MP * 102.3BCLK running at +0.135V LLC; MaxTemps after an hour of Small FFTs in Prime95 settles around 80°C with my Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme.

Tell me what you think! :)

Cheers.
