The 60mm rad, now this'll fit!! Ive also noticed they listened to TTL, as when he did a review on these many moons ago, he mentioned the stickers weren't straight, like my monsta, but also they should just leave stickers seperate so we can pick/choose to place them ourselves!

Low & behold, stickers seperate. Good job alphacool, shame you wouldnt do me a 240 rad in white despite me offering more money!

Ive got a question, with two rads, & 3 waterblocks ( CPU + 2xGPU), will I need a second pump or not?

Ive also noticed the corsair fans have a 4 pin connector, yet my fan control leads are 3.

so where will they plug in, or is there an adapter? ideally, the warmer the temps get, the faster the fans I want to spin automatically, ie motherboard controlled, so is this possible with 3 fans?

thanks Bartacus, that's something ill be purchasing.

Some more goodies arrived today, still waiting on Mayhems coolant, Distilled water, 240 UT60 rad & some more corsair fans.

but for now, check this bundle out :)

Ok, still waiting on parts, but since alphacool wouldnt give me a white rad, i had to take things into my own hands.

My Sabertooth board arrived if you are interested btw BM. I guess if yours wasnt shipped yet you will get it Tuesday, if not tomorrow.

My brother checked it out and for someone who isnt even into gaming or pcs he said it looks smexy as hell!

Which Sabertooth is it?... I have the old P67 motherboard.

Post a pic of it?, nice to see how they look now compared my old one :)

P97 & I got a mail on Friday saying it was on its way. Ill probably get it Tuesday. Also sent overclockers an email regarding my Coolant. Its been on order for nearly a month now, apparently waiting on some Corsair QE's to arrive......

So until that arrives, I cant continue my loop :(

In the meantime, some more prezzies arrived this week.

1000W PSU
2400MHz 4GB RAM sticks in white
and a Blu-Ray/DvD Burner O/C special ( seems to be LG to me, but whatever )

I have a question? will my 1000W PSU be enough to power 2 GTX980's, up to 9 Fans & D5 pump the motherboard?

Also got this to go in when its all setup.........

also got some more parts & a decent SSD

Also another question regarding that 90° bit. It has no seal, so if I screw in a compression fitting directly at the top where the thread is, surely it would leak right? is there something else I need?

The compression fitting that will screw into the 90 will have the O ring, the seal is always on the threaded end. If you open the Monsoon fittings you'll soon see.

was about to say no they don't, but just found a little bag with the O-rings hiding under the key that they supply.

Thanks!!

Look what arrived today!

As soon as I got chance after work, I set out to start plumbing in some stuff. Screwed in the motherboard into my case, then set about installing the CPU waterblock.

First time doing any of this, & what I will say, is the XSPC for the 1150 sockets are a wee bit fiddly. The post idea that's used on the 2011 sockets seemed a great idea ( its how my head bolts are on my car ) as that aligns as soon as you lower the waterblock.

But no, the screws wont go through the motherboard as the holes are too small, so ended up with having to put the waterblock on the CPU on first, & then carefully putting the other screws through the waterblock, through the motherboard so it could "bite" into the backplate.

so first step was adding the thermal paste to the CPU ( this looks right amount yes? )

then carefully screwing up the tension bolts & ended up with something like this

routed in the Blue LED's & put in the compression fittings from Monsoon

1618496_10154920028465475_8771570166016465189_n.jpg

and with my 240 rad painted & fully dry....

10846313_10154920028265475_8285849662508964575_n.jpg

put in the PSU from Super Flower & test fitted the rad. Still waiting on the fans from Overclockers, nearly a month on. May just cancel them & get something else. That order is also stopping me getting the coolant.....

Whilst going through my PSU, one thing TTL DID NOT MENTION  ( and im so annoyed about this from Super Flower ) is this:

What is this! WHAT IS THIS RUBBISH! How am I meant to switch on my PSU without a powercable?!! DO I look American? Did I Order it from America? No I didn't.

Nor did it state it in the description that the powercable was of Alien design. Now I know some of you will say I can just buy another powercable, but its not the point is it. That's like sending a U.S citizen a UK plug.

Ill update the thread when I get more goodies. Quick question though, im thinking of ditching the Corsair AF120 1500RPM white LED fans for the white 120mm Aerocool DS Edition Fan.

What you guys think? Stats show they shift more air at a quieter noise level

I think they may look really good spinning up too.....?

Erh actually, we use those power plugs in the Netherlands... You can easily get a wall socket adaptor or a new power cable if you don't want to send the whole thing back.

PS, I don't think those Aerocool fans look good at all :(

Ok guys, new fans, coolant & water have arrived today, & i wouldnt ask if i didnt know, but cleaning out the rads, do i just pour the water in, shake & drain it or do i just continously pour the water in & let it run right out?

Pour in a top port & let it out the bottom port right?

I'm beginning to fear you are going too white here. Be careful!

Also I removed my stupid assist fans. They help but they are optional and so you can survive without them. The noise the made on my Z77 was ludicrous.
