The G.E.C.K.

Sadly we had a problem. When I took the blue piece and laid it over the yellow this happened..

I am flummoxed. In the end I took the piece I drew up, re-traced it, put it back in Easel and...

Yeah, god only knows.

OK, trying that again lol

Bit snapped. Ugh.

Thankfully I came up with a new idea. Bottom left on the piece you can see a small mark. I use the manual control to mark exactly where the bit started. In the past if a bit snapped the piece went in the bin. However, now that I have learned to mark it? I just changed it out to a 1.6mm bit and started the machine again.

I sat in for the first two goes around and yeah, it is absolutely bang on. So hopefully it will now stop being annoying.

Apologies guys I forgot to add a post. Weird, I could have sworn I did !

I designed the badge for the back.

And machined/fitted it.

Now because I can not cut the large panels for another few weeks (waiting on parts to extend the machine) I could only do smaller pieces. So, I set about designing the stands for the blade.

I am not going to edge polish them, given they are inside and will not be seen. It was only flex that made me do the door badges lol.

"Ah, but do they fit?" yes.

Remember, measure 10 times cut once haha.
