Hi guys(& Phils missus!) - very unproductive weekend! System 3 (XP2500+ etc) system kept rebooting itself every couple of minutes. Did complete reformat HDD, reinstall Win XP Pro and still useless. Any ideas?

Have you rebuilt it, reapply the heatsink. Check the memory? Make sure it isnt overheating basically.
I'll give this a go - when it was first built, I had no probs - it was on for several hours. Since then, been plagued!

England win, I lose !

I've had this thing in bits tonight. CPU out, graphics, memory and wireless nwk card. I've checked BIOS wasnt set strange. It boots, checks RAM fine, then if booting from Windows XP CD will run for a full install, but if booting from disc will fall over within 20 seconds and reboot the whole thing. It DIDN'T do this when 1st set up and worked fine for a couple of weeks. Its not overclocked or anything, just bog standard. CPU temp reported only 44°C and no chips were hot. Is it the HDD or something else?
