Spray paints and templates

As can be seen in the pics i have made a template out of paper, do you think this is a good fit, as i need to hide those cables
it will be black with clear logo and my Alias, then back lit blue to match the rest of the lighting.
Is this bad, and do you lot think i should spray a clear piece of perspex or a black piece and use clear glue to fill the hole to let the light diffuse or the same but with a black metal plate?

I look forward to your opinions i promise i wont be offended.

Thats what im not sure about, it will be black with blue lighting. but just wantewd to make sure it did not look silly and if anyone had tips on mounting

Just a thought, instead of making the plate with a logo on, how about mounting the SSD vertically on it? Shows it off a bit more than being flat on top of the drive cage. Will hide the cables and can be done with a plain piece of black acrylic.

EDIT: Now i get the reason for the logo. How about just having it cut into the black piece and sandwich that on top of a clear piece?

wow thanks for trying that at least and showing me. The main reason is im looking at the plate is evenutally i want 2 SSDs and will mount them behind the MOBO pate.
plus i think this will make my rig more personal

Then definitely cut the design out of a black piece and stick in on to a clear piece. You'll get the logo and a halo around the edge lit up too.

ah fair enough i was going to get it cut out. then use cling film thats tight then fill it up with hot glue, so its only 5mm thick so i can put my lighting system on it, im not sure they layers would be good

Why not use blue or clear acrylic and paint it black where you don't want the light to shine through?

I will be putting RGB leds behind it, so if i get bored of blue i can change it with a click of a mouse.

If you're using the bottom HDD bay, you could use the top with 2 SSD mounted horizontally instead of vertically with acrylic behind it still enough for a small logo.

Maybe pushing it a bit too much, but there's that option, otherwise I couldn't really think of anywhere to showcase the SSD in C70.

i dont want to show case it, evenutally they will be hidden right now its is there due to not having the bracket.
