RRR - Racing Rig Revival

Its been so long since Ive actually had time to game in between the review testing and now actually having to stop work to spend some time with TSL that Id almost stopped bothering.

Recently though the pull to my kinda gaming (wheeled games) has been strong again and because of things changing in my personal life a little bit Ive had enough time on my hands to catch up with all of the cleaning, DIY and sister duties to be left with enough time to pine after a gaming session.

Wraith, Killbane WYP are always hassling me to join them on discord of an evening but I cant just sit in front of my work station all night after 10-12 hours in the office.

So its now time for me to work towards gaming nights again, like back in the day when I used to race the two TNR's.

Ive got an amazeballs GT Omega sim and a Thrustmaster GT500 RS anyways hiding built in the loft of dreams so Ive no excuse.

Ive secretly been getting things into place for months, my Asus AC5300 AP is in the loft on teamed lines right by the racing rig ready to plug a system into. Case wise thats been the main hold up tbh but if push comes to shove Ill change the case and get things moving. All Ive needed was a monitor to really get the wheels turning......

Love the vid, and here's a quick and dirty logo idea...

Second screen for mates on the sofa/bed/lounger/cushion thing for clone view!

Get some bubble wrap on the edges of those rafters, make the 'ouch' a fake one because it felt like it *should* hurt, but actually *didn't* :D

Might watch a build log, dunno

There's something very charming about a loft that smells of wood and dust. Not sure why. I spent half of my childhood in my loft den when I lived in London :D

Not something I am blessed with now sadly :(

I really enjoyed the video, well I like most of the OC3D videos so no surprise there.
Keep up the good work :)

Had a quick play, some inspiration for now. Will have a think about it more when I'm more awake.

Not a Designer like i said on you tube, but vid was good. had that kind of friendly vibe about it.

given im here though thought id throw a jpg together for a side pannel. Dont expect it to be chosen because as i said im no good at this stuff..
I did leave space at the top for OC3D logo.. Which i wouldnt try to imitate. also copy and paste seems a bit cheaty..

Probably should have the curve going from bottom left to top tight so it emulates torque range.

I started watching the video last night and my wife asked if I was watching a porno lol. Listen to the first few seconds of the video...

I really liked the enthusiasm and passion you are showing for this project in the video Tom. Now get it built so you can game with us mate :).

Really enjoyed the video I love these lay back type of vids and you really manage to make it seem that you are talking to just one person, like you are talking to just one mate in the loft and it's not any easy thing to achieve but you have down pat
Looking forward to the next installments

Oh my days boys youre all awesome, thank you for the very positive response.

Someone on facebook said about the logo in the MK2 XR2 style graphics and I have to see it now! Loving all of the ideas here though, the inspiration is strong!

I need to get back to 'normal' work for a bit until the case thing gets resolved but you never know what might happen over the weekend!

Give me a couple of hours (waiting on the postie and then have to do my chores) and I will look into this for you. I assume you mean the stripe down the side with XR2 in it, yes?
