RRR - Racing Rig Revival

Thats quite cool dude. Ive got loads of anodised bolts etc here too but not seen those.

Will give it a think and see if they will work thank you x

I got the vertical GPU mount cleaned up as best I can and Im quite happy with it, when its in there and fitted it does look strangely stock.

After that was all sorted I had no excuse not to get the acrylic unwrapped and fitted. Its at this point I have a confession.... I ordered matt white acrylic but unaware that one side is matt and one side is actually gloss..... Luckily when Ive done the work on measurements etc its all worked out that they all match but its worked out the chuffing gloss is all on show :( - they are all handed so I cant just flip them over and I really cba to start again.... So gloss it is!

Now with the window I got some white electrical tape to try and make a border but its off white, and against the rest of the uber clean white it looks a bit cream. Im not happy with it so Im going to look for a better white tape or investigate other options. Other than the shade being wrong though I think the idea is sound.

looking good Guv. At the moment its too much white for me, but i'm sure once the hardware makes its way in there it will break it up a bit more. Interested to see how the vertical GPU mount works out for you too

Use the Z170 Sabranco board (white PCB) and Ill be painting the 1080 Strix cooler shroud and backplate white - OC3D AIO can be seen in the last image and thats all white too bar the red braided hose (pump is RGB and might end up red)

Hi

Looking good, I like what you did with the NZXT red plate. It looks very good on your new blanking plate for the HD wall. What about white vinyl for the window border. You could stick it on the case or the window itself.

Vinyl sheet is a mare where it needs cutting

Hmm, I have never worked with large vinyl projects so did not know. I also thought maybe you could mask off the acrylic window and paint a white boarder on it. IDK if on second thought I like that idea as lots of the desire of your clear side is that its all clear and not a pseudo side panel

Looking good Tom! May I ask why you hacked up the PCI slot area, versus that weird looking grill piece in front with the 2 large tube holes? That spot seems like a prime location for the cutout you did.

Looking good Guv, some great ideas in there so far. Really looking forward to seeing this progress!

Really wouldn't mind getting an OC3D pump top made for my Corsair AIO, Gonna see if any online stores can fab me one up, Would go nicely with my white OC3D internal case window vinyl ^_^

You mean a pump cover? A pump top is something that connects to a raw pump so you can fit G 1/4 fittings into it. It's like a slab of acrylic/metal with holes in.

No way to mount the GPU there and it always ended up too close to the window (thus starving the GPU of air) or totally blocking of any chance of using the other PCIE's

I agree with you there. No need to starve your GPU of air to be closer to the window.

Cheers boys, Ive put a quick video together to give you all a look of the case work complete before I start to fill it up with hardware!
