Project Insomniac

I think that he should apply the paint he used on the GPU cover on the watercooling tubes aswell (if it is possible)

When you bend the tubes it will flake off... nice idea though.. Deffinately go for a deep red though, maybe get feser to make you the right colour?

Unfortunately the paint would flake off tubing i agree. Thought i'd do something different with the cable sleeving, The Dfi X48 has green Uv slots - sata ports etc so green is the theme with sleeving and tubing. I bought some green heatshrink and rather than sleeving and shrink on the ends - its all heatshrink :-

and by overuse of a ciggy lighter we get this kinda camo effect which just fits in with the theme ! -

If the flaking is the problem can't you not sleeve the tubes and then apply that effect or will the same happen again

It'll be a project on the go dude - i'll see how it looks when its built and lit up - in the mean time, i like the way the gpu covers came out :D

Is there anyway you could brightness of those cathodes by doing a mod.

BTW have you forgotten to spray the PSU.

No cathodes on it duder - theres 2 triple UV leds - one above - one in the lowercompartment and a red Led strip in the base behind the mesh you can see !
