Hey guys I'v recently had to downgrade sizewise as we got an additional household member and i got bumped(reluctantly) into the small room thus for my current room m-audio bx8a's are MAJOR! overkill(had a media room going for my pc that is sadly a bedroom now) lol. So was wondering if anyone knows a good place for selling second hand speakers? they are in perfect working order just afew scuffs on the bottom where I'v been moving them around. I think I'll downgrade to the bx5a's or depending what I get for them a pair of krk 5/6's also open to suggestions to new speakers while where here lol gonna run 2.1 system cause I lack space for much more using m-audio bx10 bass(can you guess my favourite brand? lol thinking of a yamaha bass though) but tis a rather small room i'm in now so no 5.1 opportunities :'(

Hey man.. I think I said this to you already over on the Desktop Pictures forum but a good place to sell speakers is Ebay, Gumtree and Sound on Sound readers ads!

My recommendation for a great set of smaller monitors would be the ADAM A3X's! But try and listen to as many different speakers as you can to see which ones sound appeals to you

What interface are you using? Are you a mac user for you audio stuff?

Cheers!

was gonna say someone recommended them before so must be good:P lol, as for interface i use windows 7 and currently using m-audio delta-2496 as was told it;s a good beginners card to get to grips with the basics so far tis fun to footer with m-audio i must give huge credit to cause they actually update their drivers unlike half the HARDWARE! companies floating around going to add an ad to sound on sound avoiding ebay for now due to fee's and the type.

M audio card looks alright! Fine for a pair of outputs at least!

I started on a m-audio fast track pro, as many of my producer friends did! If you ever fancy an upgrade go for a Apogee duet. They're awesome!

Yeah... buy the ADAMS if you can

add me on twitter ( @sam_houghton ) or msn (twinkey90@hotmail.co.uk) if you want to talk music production! I love talking to up and coming producer types !
