Meh, not to be harsh, but there`s a heck of alot worse things that can happen, and probably happening to people u know.
Life throws sheet at u (every1) from time to time, it`s how u deal with it that makes u what u are in 20/30 years time.

Ionicle, I am twice your age, and I still believe my life has only just started, my kids are 12 and 8 and I look forward to spending as much time with them as I can.
You are only 17 and have a full life ahead of you, dont be so hard on yourself. Sure no one will come up to you and say "here have the best of everything for free"
If you wake up and look at any who you see in the first five mins and think how you feel about them, hopefully it will be love then life aint that bad. If not then maybe you are in the wrong place.
Perhaps then look at at it the other way do the people around you express how much they love you? If not try asking them?
Even just posting on here there are plenty of people who will care about you, and any others who think life is hard, as many of them may have experienced a similar transition into adulthood, but take it from me it does get better, and it could always be better, that is human nature.
I am happy if i can help people out, and provide for my family, telling them that i love them, and knowing they are well.
I also know there are people who are a lot worse off than me, so I will always reflect on my life in a positive manner, but i accept situations can change so please enjoy while you can.
