Mirrored sound in bc2

I got myself a Siberia v2, i have the drivers installed and i set them to 8channel, 7.1 surround, headphone mode. So i started up the game and a helicopter is to my right, but i hear him on my left side. the problem disappears when i set my headset to 6 channel but that kinda destroys the purpose of this headset :/

Do you have if the newest drivers off the manufacturer's website?

If no, download them.

If yes, try to completely remove and re-install them?

i do. i only have the problem in bc2.

What if you mess around with the in-game sound settings?
BC2 should support 7.1 audio

fixxed the issue. in the config file it was still set to 6 channels.
