Hey guys. I Was thinking about using ISR when i upgrade my Cpu and mobo. I use a Vertex 3 for OS, Office and many more smaller software programs. I also have a 128gb corsair performance ssd. Was thinking about using the corsair ssd with a samsung F3 1TB and enable it with IRS, for games and other stuff that take alot of space on the harddrive. After seing some reviews of the IRS i am confident it will be better then using Raid0 on my f3 disks. Ofcource the programs need to be used often to gain advantages of the IRS.

What do you guys think about this? good idea or stick with Raid0 with 2xF3's

im pretty sure you are only allowed to use upto 60gb drives for smart response mate so i would say its abit pointless if anything use the corsair for OS and driver and use your other ssd for programs then use your main 1TB drive for general storage

Yes. you can choose to use up to 64GB of the SSD as a cache for all accesses to the hard drive. Any space above 64GB is left untouched for you to use as a separate drive letter.

The thing is. Il think i give it a go, since i got so many games that takes up large space. Been watching some reviews on ISR and it gives a big jump in gaming performance and many other things.
