:rollingla , you had me in stiches Nick.. leave him alone with that mobo, he will have a new one in a few months ;)

Ionicle, perhaps throwing it out the window would help? :D

Ian - STOP OC'ing till you have these two things:

1: Decent motherboard

2: Decent RAM

Seriously - why do you NEVER listen to anyone?

no, not usually, but in this case, i alredy have decent ram, ok it may be V-Data, but its 2 perfectly matched 512mb sticks, in duel channel or summet, cos deepfried tested em for me and there the best V-Data hees eva seen lol

and the mobo is comin soon:D

"the best v-data ever seen" doesnt say much ionicle. its still worse than "the worst ocz ive ever seen". trust me on this one, we are trying to help you and you seem to throw it back in our face every time.

tbh i think you should go straight to intel, an advanced amd board requires a lot of skill, patience and knowledge and with my current problem i dont even have enuf of the above to cope, im tempted to go back to intel for its simplicity. i never had any complaints.

Well when I was gettin my RAID array up and runnin last night I reformatted about 5 times. tbh I lost count, it cld be 4, it cld be 6.

Then I finally figured out what I was doing wrong :).

Being a lazy arse and not formatting my Hitachi also.

One thing to remember, if you have multiple HDD's like me, whenever you re-format, you MUST format ALL your drives or you will have bbiigggg problems.
