Well either you learn or pay someone to do it cause you won't be able to install a computer without doing small intricate work :(

Not being funny...if I was near ya I'd come round and help (for a small fee hehe), but I'm not!! :p

No the SLi-DR comes with a load of crap you don't need...the D doesn't :)

There's 2 versions of packaging for the SLI-DR... There's the standard and then there's the UT which doesnt come with all the extra crap (that's the one I opted for as it was like $30 less than the standard packed SLI-DR).

ok so ask 4 the UT

wow heaps ppl have looked :D at my thread

Everyone likes to see what people think of as a dream computer :) I listed what mine would be in the first post I made on this thread, w00t! :D

ok well this is wat i want!! (and probably get lol)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800 =$1,000

DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI-DR Motherboard $400+

Geil Ultra Platinum Dual Channel PC4000 %00 mhz 1GB (2 x 512mb) = $330+

im not sure bout my vid card thers either the:

Asus Radeon x850xt/256/pcie/hdtv/vivo/dvi-x2= $1110.00+

Nvida 6800 Ultra =$1000+

ATI's R520 = not sure maybe $1000+?

Nvida G70/GeForce 7800 GTX maybe $1000-$1500??

any ideas bout better ram or VGA card plz tell me thanks josh :D :D :worship:

any nvidea card will serve you well for vga/graphics and as for ram, if ya can get it some ocz pc-5000 ram is good, and will help you overclock very well!, it is however a touch on the expensive side!

No need to waste your money on PC5000 when in most cases a good set of PC3200/PC3500 will do the same thing at a lower price, at tighter timings even.

Mushkin PC3500 Redline = Mucho Nice

OCZ Rev. 2 EL Plat. PC3200 = Mucho Nice

G. Skill LE PC3200 = Mucho Nice

Just keep your eyes out for TCCD / BH5 / UTT based ram :)

Well I can get much cheaper prices for these if you're going this way :)

x850xt would be about $900

6800 ultra would be about $770 ;)
