help!!! need a new computer THE BEST POSSIBLE

So when are you looking at purchasing all this, all together or in bits and pieces. As the X2 is yet to be made available for purchase, the items we list here for you may not necessarily be the best when it comes time for you to acquire them. My advice is read up on components, ask peeps what they find works best with what and don't restrict yourself to purchasing based on hype....make yourself informed. :)

yes pv speaks wisdom.......try and learn a tad yourself and you will be mroe pleased wih yourself than if you just went on the recommendations of others.

I'd build an X2 system to experiment with... I just don't think they're gonna be worth a shit in the overclocking department tbqh... Could be wrong though :)

You dont want that much memory dude, thats gonna kill the speed of it completely. Stick with a pair of 512mb sticks if possible, even 2x1gb sticks is stretching it a bit.

If I had to take a stab at it w/o looking over that list too hard....

$4500 USD, dunno what that turns out to be in AU dollars, something like $8000 maybe? That's w/o the Mach II, hehe.
