Their new broadband price list.

Is this the one our offer is? or is it the same but without the monthly limit?

"Occasional Home Use

(up to 2Mbps connection at 50:1 contention, 5Gb limit/month)

£12.76 per month (£14.99/mth incl. VAT) "

Yeah thats a good speed for 1mb.

I usually got around 120ish on 1mb and around 230ish on 2mb.

Will post results from IDNET as well as a review when I'm up and working with them :)

iam not sure if i will see that speed again - pretty sure it was a one off, but what supprised me was the fact it seemed to stay at that speed :P

Hi guys, just come across this topic while going through some stuff on ADSLguide. This IDNet deal really does sound like the bizz, I've looked at every reply but am still not sure of one thing, what happens with email, can I still use outlook ???(configured correctly of course)

Thanks in advance for the help, great forum by the way !

Managed to get my MAC from ADSL4LESS.

Simon was very helpful and friendly today whilst sorting out my activation (hopefully Monday) next week.

Looking forward to it - thanks for the help XMS.

Mick.

Do clueless Noobs count too?

Hi

I just joined the site as I look to keep my rig purring nicely but I will be mainly asking questions and saying thanks and saying how cool things are for a while as I relearn a lot of stuff.

Would I still count for this deal since it will be a while before I really contribute anything at all worthwhile to the techheads?

thanks

Hoachy

very good offer indeed

While I think this is a vewry good offer , I have been with my provider for a while so , I will continue to monitor progress whilst watching other threads on here, in particular the question I am going to try and find an answer to on wireless networking.

Thanks all for the info so far though.

Chudley

guys we do not mind if you are clueless about overclocking/modifying as long as you are willing to learn. just know that we have no time for those just interested in a chepa broadband deal.

No problem mate. Keep us updated with how you get on :)

I've got my IDNet working. But my router is crap. I got a thompson 580 from another company, but I did get one since it'll make it easier if I ever contact IDnet. However the range of the thing is awful. It's only next door about 8 meters away, but I can just get 1 bar if I stretch the wire as far as I can.

So my connection is pretty hit and miss at the moment.
