Bizzare GPU Tracker V2 error

I can't seem to stop the SMP client. Whenever I do, I get an error. It says:

"Error stopping SMP safely, code=127

Stopped SMP"

and it never actually stops SMP, it just stops the tracker from tracking SMP.

Am I doing something wrong (other than stopping at all, lol)?

Are you running the latest version of fahtracker? Looking on google, that seems to be the best fix.

That is the latest version. I have had the same problem before though you have to exit the GPU tracker and then restart it to fix any probs like that. Make sure you close it by File>Exit inside GPU tracker though because clicking the X just closes it to sys tray.

If that still does not work open task manager go to performance>performance monitor>CPU then search F@H and end any processes that it finds by right clicking on them and choosing end process/process tree. Some times though only a restart will fix it.

I have had all sorts of probs with GPU tracker recently it seems to develop probs the longer you have it left open and if you have it running 24/7 like me you get probs all the time, I do anyway

I fold like a maniac. I've left it folding since I got my new HDD installed. Now that the PSU is going (unstable CPU voltage, no overclocking, etc), I've been folding on a laptop that I've jury rigged (jacked up on 4 CD cases) with 2 CM SickleFlows blowing cool air under it (It overheated, even while browsing with Chrome). Somehow it ended up in the F@H forum. Could've sworn I posted in the Rig Gallery. Well, I was having problem with the laptop too. Thanks for the suggestion, SieB.
