Let's talk about the Zotac 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme

What do we know so far:

1) Triple Slot
2) 16 + 2 Power Phases
3) Triple Fan + Icestorm


What we don't know yet:
1) Clocks
2) Price
3) Availability


What do you think about this particular card? It actually have 6 more Power Phases than the Asus Strix. I am not an expert about this, but, do you think that it would really make a differente regardless the "current stability" against others? It is a serious candidate for my Rig.

I have wanted to get a AmP Extreme 1080 for a time now, this might be the one....

The reasons being that I would love to try out Zotac and I WANT the Biggest card out there, just for the sake of having the Biggest.

I actually come from the Zotac 1080 AMP! Extreme and is an amazing card. Great performance, goog temps, (not so silent, but OK)

If you have the power and the case, is the card to get ;)

Thanks! Didn't know this one. I will definitely look at it, and actually it already have the Strix 1080 Ti PCB reviewed.

Is amazing how this guy call the Strix completely Overkill with 10 Phases. How overkill are going to be the 16 phases of the Zotac? Will it be exclusively a marketing selling point, and absolutely no benefit in any sense? I would love to see the the Zotac's 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme PCB analyzed by this guy.

I think what he said about the 10 phases of the Strix was that they were still held back somewhat by another part. I'll have to rewatch the video to remember.
 
Looks like we finally have GPU and Mem clocks.

GPU: 1645/1759 MHz

Mem: 11.2GHz



Isn't this the fastesf factory OC 1080 Ti?

I'm pretty sure it'll maintain quite high and sustainable frequencies for longer than the average. By quite a big margin by the way.

Just ordered mine, will be receiving it in about 10 days. ;)
