What film editing program to get ?

Hi,

I'm running in a championship on fm3 again and i'm in charge of the site and also it's media updates. so what i need is a proper editing software thingy.

Since i'm not schooled in any, it needs to be intuitive but also capable of doing pretty much everything so movie maker won't do.

works weirdly but i'll give it a go tomoorw, they do have to figure out diffrent framerate and extension issues..
