Vaping thread

Hmmmm.. thats odd because at the voltage its only pulling about 5 watts so it really shudnt be tasting like that. The only thing i can think of is that the head has burnt out and its time to replace it

Well posted on another forum about it and they said to change it from mean mode to RMS mode.

No idea what the difference is between the two but it's now on RMS mode at 10w.

Yeah seems to be fine.

Noticed that the head/coil that was on before was a 1.6 ohm, changed it for a 1.8 so will see how it goes.

thats the main thing as long its working and giving you a satisfying vape :)

Post a pic of your setup dude. Heres what im using:-

Innokin itaste SVD with Helios RDA on the left and Nemesis with IGO W3 RDA on the right

I'm an on and off vaper :)

I currently vape a AGAT2+ with the Nemesis Mod, I have various other devices but they're on loan to a house mate at the moment (KangerPro Tank II and Smoktech SID)

My resistance is sub-ohm at the moment at about 0.8 I believe.

Thinking about getting myself a KayFun Lite soon!

Nice set up dude :)

I just cant get on with gennie atomizers. Tried them but they are not for me.
My svd and helios is 1.3 micro coil because the svd wont fire below 1 ohm and my igo is a 0.5 ohm dual nano coil. Its a very warm vape but the vapour and flavour is sublime

Thanks :)

Yeah, genny's take a bit of getting used too and some experiment is needed. I find they perform the best at sub-ohm but a lot of electronic devices won't fire them and thus a mech is needed.

I really need to get back into it again, been meaning to order juice for a while now.

I might get one and experiment some more but im a dripper through and through tbh.

Im also going to be building my own dna30 mod soon which my kayfun will sit on when it gets here :)

Little bump as I've upgraded recently, and what an upgrade.
Now using a Nemesis clone with Sony VTC4 18650 battery, Trident RDA clone bored to 3mm air holes running dual nano dragon coil @ 0.7Ω.

It's taken some getting used to the difference, completely different world to the ego type starter kits, but now I can't really settle on a juice

Tried about 10 new/different, to my usual ones, from Celtic Vapours, great evape and my local shop's own range. Been and picked up a great evape Welsh Mist 6mg today, which incidentally vapes very well and has a nice smooth flavour (kind of like Murray Mints). Probably gonna get a higher nicotine one and VG it down for better clouds though

Nice set up mate. And its good to see people doing research on safe batteries to use as well :) also what is the trident like because i was thinking of getting one?

Yh its completely different to any sort of clearomiser set up and once you get use to drippers its impossible to go back

I cant do any links atm due to being on mobile and its a pain but some good juice sites i use:
Alba vapours
Grey haze ( tjuice and jvapes)
Vape escape ( grizwalds gourmet recipes)

That was my main concern when buying, I wanted something suitable for everyday use and safe at low ohms for a little cloud chasing when the mood takes me. been experimenting with a 24gauge 0.3ohm build but generating too much heat for my liking after a couple of pulls.

The trident is pretty good tbf, at least for my needs and experience. It's the v1 clone I've got. Decent sized deck so plenty of room for building. Posts are a little odd, slotted rather than drilled and it's a threaded cap to secure the coil rather than a screw. They've been a little fiddly at times for dual coil builds, especially when the coils decide to ping it off the centre post before you can tighten it down
Airflow isn't bad, largest holes are 2mm on the clone if you don't want to take power tools to it and the stock o-rings seemed quite loose/unsecure on mine. Oh and I didn't really like the supplied driptip.

I also looked at the nimbus (air holes are minuscule and no adjustment so you're stuck with whatever you drill them out to) and the atomic (deck a little too small for a novice builder like me).
Overall though the trident was the best choice for me from what my shop had at the time.

ok, we've just shelled out around £50 for 2 starter kits, what ones I have coming, no clue....but I've looked at the ones at scan etc and now a little confused....

This stuff on ohms and battery type etc does it make a huge difference?

also how long would 30ml of liquid last the average smoker?

cheers fellas..
