UPS for Corsair Platinum 1200W PSU

I am looking at this UPS as it has a connected equipment warranty : http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BR900GI

Will this be okay to have a 1200W PSU attached?
Even though its Output Power Capacity is 540watts - would this mean my PSU would be limited to 540?

It depends on how much power your rig draws, not on the max wattage of your psu. Imo you should get a more powerful ups, as it's only rated for 540w which either isn't enough to power your rig or your psu is massive overkill.

No PSU isnt overkill - UPS is just massively underrated - anyway will continue to look for a better UPS - cheers
