Those little annoying F@H things ..

Slot options > 'max-packet-size' : 'small'

So the name would be: Max-packet size

and value would be: small

never done this before

Just done this for my SMP client. Out of curiosity, if I was to get rid of the SMP slot, and re add the small wu flag thing, would I get a small WU instantly? Or does it need to get a fresh WU from the servers @ stanford?

I stayed over my girlfriends last night which is always a nice opportunity to run the rig full whack all night without it being interrupted, and i come home this morning thinking id have done a good solid nights work and the F@H client is not running nor is afterburner which i use to monitor my gpu usage :(

Im one very unhappy folder today :(

got up this morning... pc crashed:(

430 rig's Jeantack PSU keeps crackling itself in to an early grave even though it powered the system fine before. 5870s are refusing to fold but think I can fix that by reinstalling the client. If I put the 430s in the bulldozer rigs then my PPD won't change because then I'll have to switch from LXDE Linux to Windoze again and will lose more SMP PPD than I'll gain in GPU PPD - not sure what to do with the 430s now.

I have been running into a lot of problems folding. First a big storm comes through and blows out the power for 2 and half days. Then my UPS is having issue which I have not taken the computer off it. I tired to update the BIOS and that blow up the machine, took me awhile to recover from that. Just one thing after another. Good thing is that the kids are gone for the weekend so I hope to make up some ground.

That's really unfortunate. Hope you get everything sorted :D

I know i'm fantastically out of my depth here, but by any chance do you have a screen saver set on the rig which keeps turning off? I was having issues where I would turn the screen on (i turn it off when not in use) and find that i'd been logged out - the PC had restarted itself. This only started to happen since I had set a screen saver (the bubbles one) and the problem seems to have fixed itself now i've removed it.
Just a thought :)
