Those little annoying F@H things ..

Bollocks!! Got a 8013, ppd down from the usual 21k to 13.5k. I better not get anymore of them, loved the ones that provided like 4k points for at least 1 week. Gpu is ok, been getting wu worth 5757 points for just over a week

So I spend ages tweaking OC on my 1090T. Give my cooler a nice clean and some NH paste. Prime95 is stable for a good 7 hours, and for some reason it just won't fold

My cpu just started a new WU and its another 6097 these are really getting on my nerves now, this one is only going to give me 1593 points :/

6.3K PPD off a splendid 7903 on one of the FX8120s.

The more hardware we donate, the less points stanford credits for your assistance. Stanford.

Sort of stopped caring now, impossible to get decent PPD now. My 1090T used to get 25k (Linux), now it gets about 6-11k (Windows) (sat in a Crosshair 4 along with my 430s, which are yeilding 5.7k each). 8120s are supposed to yeild as much as a 1090T, yet they're down to 10k or below usually. Not happy with points at all.

Recently its very random, before i use to get a steady stream of wu with decent points and ppd and then BAMN!! little tiny WU's with low ppd, this is on main rig. The folding is getting better WU's

The very little wu' that give only 1k points and 4-5k ppd on smp, annoy me quiet a bit. Gpu is fine with 5k points and 16k ppd

8001 is the only unit I know of like that, but I've never had it as SMP.

The SMP client is now folding again

yay. I think it was a bad WU.

Hmm, whats better? V7 or gpu tracker? May try out v7 on f@h rig, oh btw, if I install v7, will I lose the bonus points I get from the SMP client?

V7 will only get you more points. Providing you enter your passcode during setup, bonus points will still be credited and your current WU will likely be ported over.

The work units you have completed are linked to your username and passkey combo on Stanfords server. So as long you you enter your username and passkey correctly Stanford will know you have already qualified for bounus points even though the software on your end wont have any record of your pervious work.

Personally I have both GPU Tracker and the V7 client installed at the same time. I use V7 for SMP and GPU Tracker for the GPUs. In general I found V7 to give better SMP work units, however if it goes through at bad patch I'll stop V7 and get SMP running on GPU tracker to see if its any better for a short period of time.

At the end of the day it's upto you. But I think its worth you giving V7 a try.
