PLEASE tell me this is going to be a thing...

I have had a few mATX boards over the last year, all H61 chipsets and non of them supported vcore overclocking. Thought it was the same for all mATX boards, lol :D

Even better then if you can't get an ATX mobo in this 350D.

I don't think any H61 board was made for overclocking, though I could be wrong...

I had two H61 boards. A Gigabyte that ended up covered in coolant and a MSI. I never got the chance to see if they overclocked but the MSI did have OC Genie. It didn't do anything with my Xeon though

I'm pretty sure they don't support overclocking though. Heck, they don't even have SATA III or USB III just very basic.

Sounds more like the limitations of the chipset than anything else then, a Z77 with a K series processor should OC just fine on an mATX board.

Just double checked my board, deffo ATX. Bit of a bummer if the 350D doesn't support ATX then as I love the looks, design and size of it. Probably means I need to go with the 650D and that's quite a bit more expensive unfortunately.

I'm definitely buzzing to see people cram kit into these. A good Z77 MATX does support SLI and Crossfire X but you need to sandwich the GPUs. Water cooling fixes that so I'm very interested to see if it takes rads and what can be squeezed in there.

Would be excellent if they support two twin rads. One for some GPU goodness and the other for a CPU rad :)

Ed. After screwing up my eyes it definitely looks like there's a H100 in the roof.. Now if it can take a double rad in the front?

Seriously,

Depends on the fans up front. Might not be too difficult to mod in a 240mm Monsta Rad. Not sure if they are having 1 or 2 fans up front.

Watercooling wise, going off the pics of the case it looks like you can maybe get a 60-80mm 240/280 rad in the front or bottom, if you can remove the HDD cages.

In the roof it looks like you may be able to, depending on the mobo, get a slim 240 in the roof or even a 280 if there are 140mm fan mounts as well.

Yeah just saw the review. I am as much of a fan of this chassis as i thought I would be, and DEFINITELY want to build a rig out of this. It just looks so... GOOD! I do agree with the assessment of the roof though, they could have done that part a bit differently, and I would have gladly paid for the price differential. Still looks the s#!% either way x-)

Case Labs just released an ITX case (the S3), and they're working on an mATX case (the S5). Corsair looks to be stepping up their game and targeting the same market.

Oh and what's this about not being able to OC an mATX board?!? That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. There's no difference between mATX and normal ATX as far as OCing potential goes, especially in the ROG series. The boards are just smaller. :)
