The original set was run using exactly the same settings as this replacement set...and aside from the buzzing noise coming from the subwoofer I didn't experience any issues with sound cutting out/in.

I know that, but sometimes settings get changed without knowing. Example: The other day, my left speakers weren't playing sound so I had to run the Creative Diagnostic tool and it fixed some Midi setting.
