Someone I work with has offered me a deal on a p/x...

My Logitech Z2300s...(2.1) set in p/x for Logitech Z5500s (5.1)....

The deal is £55 plus my speakers for the Z5500s....

Does that sound like a good deal?

Also, is it possible to mount the satellite speakers (Z5500 Sats) on freestanding speaker stands??

thats a damn good deal tbh,£200 worth of smashing speakers for 2.1 and a bit of cash:yumyum:

i would deffo snap that up.

Cheers all...

Any ideas re. speaker stands??

If you take a look at the Z5500 demo video on the Logitech site you'll see the satellites mounted on stands.....looks nice imo....and would free up some desktop for the sound controller and my alphaLCD...

Any ideas would be very welcome

:wavey:

Go for it i say. 5.1 is fantastic.

If I could highlight that in lumi-marker, I would.

Pc equipt aside, a 5.1 system is one of the best, long lasting, purchases u can ever make - imo.

thanks mate.

Aye, my Z2300s have served me well....but I crave surround...and this deal sort of kills 2 birds with 1 stone...

I get the set of speakers I want and I don't have to worry about trying to sell on my Z2300s...

I just hope they are in perfect condition as I am getting excited!

Managed to get em for £50 (plus my Z2300s)

OMFG....they sound folkin awesome!!

Just need to mod my desk now to hide the sub!!

One point tho....the sub humms a bit...is that normal??

I believe i had the same problem. If you have another audio source going into the computer(headset) unplug it and see if they still hum.

I have owned my Z-5500's for nearly 2 years, paired up with my X-Fi sound card they are truly awesome and I cant fault them in anyway.

Great for house party's to show off  :p

My desk is getting a tad cluttered now....but I love it!!

Keep me posted if you have any brain waves re. the humming.....

This whole saga has got a whole lot worse....speakers aren't working at all now. No power getting to the soundpod and the sub isn't humming anymore....

ARGH!!!!!
