hwbot [ALL] Discussion thread

Hmmm, it`s not on the bot site either.

If u have access to the info for it, which may`ve included a linky to a screenie (can`t remember), pm me the details or summit and I`ll be sure to enter it again.

Obviously my system is pretty shabby, but is it better to add a bad result than to add no result at all?

I don't understand what this is for at all, but if I can help (or help by not helping) ....

can i put my score here also ?

Yep, but your better off submitting straight to the HWBot site, and associating your scores with the OC3D bench team :D.

Push the CPU harder sam. 06 loves rolling in multi cored environments.

Needs a quad here... Pulled 21k with a dual core!

Im having trouble getting it stable really

Prime95 keeps restarting the pc - already on 1.4v on the cpu and 2.10v on the ram

ram at 5-5-5-18, trfc at 55 and fsb to nb is set at 266...i think thats right?

think the mobo fsb is @ 333 so that shud make it easier on the ram (which is reaperx pc2-8000)

266 nb strap is going to be a little tight. 333/400 will loosen things up and allow for higher fsb via a few looser sub-timings.

ahh cool

im still quite noob but thanks for that - i slackened timings from 5-5-5-15 to 5-5-5-18 iirc

if im still having problems, shud i slacked them further? if so what to?

The ram timings you have wont effect much. As long as the ram is good @ 5-5-5-15/18 then just leave them there.

If you run into any walls its worth trying different dividers. eg one of my rigs wont boot with the DDR3 set to 1000, but will with it set to 1500 at certain settings.

Think i may have the limit at 14800 :(

suppose i better just work on making it stable

cpu is 3465 atm @ 385 bus speed (any more and it gets really unstable), memory is at a lowly 385mhz which i will try to tighten deffo

Maybe the cpu will go further with a few more volts + water

yeah for a q6600 thats a good score and overclock.

You should add that to the hwbot scores...

If only my p43 asus p5ql pro would let me go past 415mhz i think this chip would do about 4200mhz with air.

Shame.

thanks :)

but as Ham was quick to point out, they're only global points :(

need some crap parts to push for hardware points :p
