Guide to etching a case window

Thanks PV for putting this guide together, much appreciated. A quality etching will make a nice addition to my project, all the details count :)

Thanks, I'll try this with my Phantom 410. I want to remove the mesh, increase the size of the opening and put an acrylic window on it.

cool work here, nice!

here's my last attempt

do you what that would look like with a light source at the bottom illuminating it?

And also how complex an image do you think could be done? im thinking also for my case a profile of Toshiro hitsugya from an anime i like ? or would that be too complex.

i think it will like good. I'll give it a try as soon as I get the whole mode done

show us a pic .

lines are easy to do. "coloring" is the most difficult process

I myself am interested in trying some etching in my upcoming project!

Using a bleach character too, Kisuke Urahara, i plan on doing a simpler etch just two tones.

planned etch pictured below

This will be difficult to pull off but i'm hopeful i can get good results.
any advice would be appreciated!
