Now that Pioneer has sold its BD drive https://overclock3d.net/news/misc/pioneer-has-exited-the-pc-optical-disc-market/ IP assets to https://en.ltom.com/ , we can only hope for those drives to be reintroduced, AND built with the same Pioneer design quality as my LX500 BD player. That player takes awhile to eject discs from my precious library of DVD and BD movie collection-but with no scratches, thank you!
Meanwhile, my pc's LG WH16NS60 BD drive ejects discs with so much force that I think it scratched one of my DVDs. The disc still plays fine but I will NOT be using that drive again for anything! Can someone recommend an internal (are any left for sale anymore??) or external BD drive that SLOWLY ejects discs?
