Gigabyte X79 issues.

So I got a problem guys and its the strange since i have never had a problem with said manufacturer. I order a Gigabyte X79-UD5 a few weeks back for a office workstation to replace my i7 970 on a Gigabyte X58-UD3 but for some strange reason the damn board wont even go to bios with a 3930K BUT it will get to bios and crash with a Xeon.

Can someone please help me out because to resend this board to Gigabyte is gonna really be expensive and time consuming.

So whats best?

(A) Send it back to Gigabyte
(B) Toss it in the trash
(C) Get a UP5-WIFI
(D) Get an Asus P9X79-PRO

a - Yes, if that isnt satisfactory, look to ASUS
b - naw.. reinstall x58 and re-reseacrch..
C - nopers.. power phase is not up to par. if not overclocking (dunna know why not)
over-paying for simpler features
d - when all else fails.. the pro boards are pretty much "the choice", but the
audio isnt much for quality.. but they do make sound cards!

Oh....... let's prayer he doesn't.
Technically I am the retailer at this point but oddly enough the other 9 boards work flawlessly (yes i ripped open all the mobos to test every last on).

Sending it back in a bit (lol in the truck on my tablet) to the warehouse i got them from but........ i tested the board before i left the shop and it refused to start.

So i really did get a dodgy mobo.

GIGABYTE.... FIX YA $H!T



So people.... what do you think is the cause? Yes respond need to know.
