Well I've begun ordering parts for my first hand built SS phase change unit. NoL has been helping me a great deal with every aspect. Finding parts, telling me what needs to be done, etc. So big props to NoL for that.

Picked up a pair of those same rotary compressors that NoL just posted about to give those a shot on my first system. Also buying some gauges and knick-knacks from NoL including some R-22, w00t w00t.

I'll be sure to post pix of my first n00bed out phase system as I get to building. I'll be making a trip to Home Depot tomorrow to get some copper tubing, mapp gas torch, and some other basic tools like a pipe cutter, swag tool, bending tool.

Yes I will Think, I don't have to to any of the case modding or any of that ****... It'll be plug and play! Plus cascades are way over my head right now anyhow.

Yup getting close! Ordered the compressors and starters on ebay last night. I will get ahold or Reggie shortly and order up a condensor from him. You said you had a flex line u could sell me right? Where should I get the filter and cap tube from?

@Melted: I'm trying my hand at it! Post up a thread with any units you've built mate, we'd all be interested at gazing at that stuff. This stuff amuses me to no limit

Hahahaha yeah.

I got this flex line, looks like the steel ones like normal, none braided but its yellow. You won't see it under insulation though, that and i'll get those cap in cap evaps made when the metal arrives. I've also got 10 ft of .021 i think cap tube, and a spare filter I think. Those will all go in the package once I order the refrigerant w/ manifold/
