I knew we wouldnt even touch pc hardware, but I can bet you that out of 25 people doing the same course as me (not including the other 100 doing cs, ai, software, etc), dont even know what a pc looks like on the inside, I was excpecting at least some sort of very newbish introduction to different components and their interaction with each other, we only went into detail on ssds and ram, other than that I think its shameful that you have students going into 2nd year (out of 3 years) of a bsc in cce that still think that a pc is the monitor -.- or that the inside of the case is some sort of maze that only a technician that rips you off alive is able to fix :/

Switching algebra is fun though

Bought a pair of sunglasses the other day, lost them today walking into town. Think they fell out of the side pocket of my backpack when I ran across the road :(

You're on Eircom I presume?
I'm not actually sure anymore, it was vodafone up until about 2 weeks ago when we switched to IFA Telecom (lol) but everything we got has technicolour gateway branding on it, so I don't know. It's pretty much the same though.

Miles behind on everything I need to do, 4th weekend in a row at work when I usually only do every alternate, exams to worry about in September where the resit is 9 months later and dealing with one friend who says she isn't interested in me but every damm action says otherwise and can't properly deal with it as there is a 350 mile distance between it.

Oh and managed to burn dinner. At least the brownies were perfect

I have one as main storage, has been going strong for over a year now. I think i really need a backup, atm it's my laptop.

one died at about 2 years 9 months while the other died at about 4 years 3 months old, I'll be switching to WD for my mechanical though

Good choice, I used to use Tosh's & Seagates but they seem to have become unreliable over the last 6 years.

Oh damn it! It happened again, a bloody missed delivery slip tucked under the furry bit of the letter box...

Got me wondering what it is now??
