I knew we wouldnt even touch pc hardware, but I can bet you that out of 25 people doing the same course as me (not including the other 100 doing cs, ai, software, etc), dont even know what a pc looks like on the inside, I was excpecting at least some sort of very newbish introduction to different components and their interaction with each other, we only went into detail on ssds and ram, other than that I think its shameful that you have students going into 2nd year (out of 3 years) of a bsc in cce that still think that a pc is the monitor -.- or that the inside of the case is some sort of maze that only a technician that rips you off alive is able to fix :/
Switching algebra is fun though
