Its not that old but its still pretty old, its a dell vostro something or other, i can't even get a monitor hooked up to it since i don't have any hdmi or dvi cables spare so i need to pinch my little brothers hdmi cable when hes at school to put it on or ill put the hdd in my pc and install it that way. I was got given the PC a week ago so i should probably get a shift on haha

Can't do that dude. Windows install is locked to the motherboard and HDD. Can't just install it on one PC and chuck it in the other.

Yeah it had a corporate version before so all the roman profiles were on a server somewhere so i couldn't get logged in so i had to use a boot loader CD that didn't work either and when i tried to install windows on it it blue screened so ill just put linux lite on. Not even sure why people still cling on to windows xp, its dead, everyone just needs to move on.

Hmm, well here goes...

As I may have said previously on the forums, I have been lately working through some serious depression and insomnia. I had been very close to ending it all, but gladly now i'm starting to be on the mend. THings are not as dark now thankfully.

But now Exam time is here, and I had recently started on a new stronger antidepressant. And now i've had is headaches, blurred vision, nausea which has now turned into vomiting. I'm was able to heep these symptoms off with pure caffeine and determination, but I don't know if i can keep thing up anymore, I think i'll have to withdraw from these remaining exams and resit them later :(.

I'll have to go tomorrow to my adviser of studies and explain this all to him, so hopefully the University will allow me to resit the exams later on with uncapped marks.

Wish me luck, because i'm feeling god-darn hopeless atm.

went to uni just to study today, I cant study at home, its roughly 7 miles away, takes me about 20-25 mins to arrive with the traffic, and another 10 minutes to find a parking spot.....

it turns out to be harder to study than it seems, so here I am.........

That really sucks fella, you were doing so well, is there no way your doc could review your meds? I really hope the Uni can re arrange your exams for you, there is nothing worse than depression I can sympathize with you there. Hope everything works out for ya.

Not in time for the remaining exams, even then it will take at least a week for the side effects to subside.

I'll be seeing the doc in a few days to review my meds and get my medical evidence for the university. Hopefully it works out well.

during the leak test one of the 90 degree fittings failed and pished water all over one of my gpus and wet the psu a little. seriously peeved off. thats what leak tests are for but its the third build in a row where the 90 degree rotaries have failed. hardline is the way forward. this parts failing crap is doing my scone in

recently claimed an FC3 code, it wasn't working so I was trying to include dashes/capital letters and whatnot, now my account is banned for 1 hour, thank god I'm not at home trying to play watch dogs, that would've been ugly, very ugly!!!!

Of course, I finally pull the trigger on a cheap (€400,-) Toshiba laptop and two days later Dell releases one with the same specs, but a Haswell CPU instead of the IB that I have and for €50 less :|

That's the life of a pc user. There's always something better :D

Annoying when that happens, I brought my PC a few years ago which had the GTX 580 and about a couple of weeks later, they had the same spec but with a 680 for the same price.

cancelled my 780 order as its a F**king Jetstream cooler, not a reference card. Thanks scan for updating the info after I bought it.FFS

Just barely managed to order sushi in a Russian takeout place (I'm Scottish, btw) Basically it consisted of the saleswoman asking me stuff, and me mumbling "what, no, wait, what?" in English. 3 years of Russian lessons have not paid off...

got biology exam tomorrow and chemistry exam next week on Tuesday. I hate chemistry so much I don't understand anything!

what are you doing in chemistry? most of the time it's pretty interesting imo, then again i pretty much like all sciency stuff

Chemistry never grew on me. Neither did biology. Most of it is rather repetitive, a lot of learning formulas by heart, not my thing. Physics though. Physics.

my motherboard is now 100% dead, now im running a laptop with gma 965 graphics which cant even handle games from 2005, gta san andreas runs like crap

Done something to my left calf when at the gym earlier, whatever it is, it's sore at anything above a walk. Still got an audit project to do as well
