They're not IDE ports...they're ISA. I'm 16 and I know this XD

Yeah theyre for addition to the mobo like expansion slots. And im 14

they're like plastic with metal pins in them so they can put date stuff trough, i'm 12 and I know this

(jk, 17 and had no clue what they are)
