Cosmos 2-Sauron LOTR Edition Case Mod.

the ring looks great there, is it fully silver though?and is the cahin silver too? just wondering as mixed metals can cause problems in water cooled rigs
 
Hope this build goes well, just take your time. At first I didn't see how a modern case like the Cosmos 2 could be turned into something of Middle-Earth, really like the ring in the reservoir though.

Hello there i know you guys are watching, even if the updates come and goes...Even if i haven't updated you guys that much,there has been some work done. and soon it's time for the case to get airbrushed. It's going to look sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! :D

Well, the top is missing i wonder where it went... ;)










I'm concerned about the right side panel. i didn't like my own design and how it went with the sidepanel...so i'm thinking of going ordinary instead, whatcha guys think?

I can already tell you guys that it's going to take a little time until the next update, but it's worth the wait... ;)

Heya!

I'm back, with a small update and some information!

I have not sent the case yet, as a said around 2 weeks ago. I didn't sent it cuz i'm waiting on some sponsor stuff that i need first.

But i got a small update that i wanted to show you.

I took some time to mod a new window for my Cosmos 2, i think it looks greater and more cleaner then the earlier one.

What do you guys think?

Holy macaroni, it's been around 2 months since the last update...Shame on me... I'm sorry about that, school takes a lot from you in the end of the 9th grade...
Well to the news hopefully the case will be sent to Dmfinearts in some days.
Then it's just more waiting...but i got something for you while i'm waiting for the case and other things to get back...look on the forums in a couple of days ;)

It looks like you scratched the hell out of your side panel, are you painting it? Looking good so far mate - just be careful not to use too much carbon film or it looks tacky, it really is a case of less is more! Little accents here and there is the way to go ;) I LOVE the ring in the reservoir, it looks brutal .\m/ Maybe you could get it clear coated or something to prevent the metal from contacting the coolant? :)
Keep it up and we could have another Nils on our hands ;)

Nah not scratches it's tape that i used for cutting the window. The case are going to get painted by DMFineArts, a awesome airbrusher can't wait for the result! I decided to skip the carbon film and go without it, it will look better ;)

The Ring in the resorvoir will look perfect and you will get and awesome view of it!

Finally! I´m back with an update guys!

Hello, long time ago, heh?

Finally the moment we all be waiting for...Drum rolls please...An update!!! Weihoo! Well I must say that i´m sorry for keeping you guys waiting this long. My apologies! Let´s see what DMfineArts have contributed with this time!

As you clearly can see the airbrush isn´t done but i love it! The result is going to be awesome!

So what´s your thoughts? Yay or Nay?!?!?!. Well if you have anything that you would like to contribute with like an idea or a motive for Dennis it would be appreciated. It helps us a lot because we can see what you like and what you don´t like so don´t be afraid of contacting me!

The sleeve!

I´m thinking of not sleeving the cables because I think if the cables are black it will look very nicely.

I mean something like this.

I will not have an extender but the cables on the Cooler Master V series PSU are already black so not really much to do! If it doesn't turn out great i'm going to sleeve the cables!

Yep how about the hand of Sauron? Well i got a guy in Denmark that is probably helping me out(no promise) but probably! What he will do is the hand and a new top for the case, a little surprise for you guys! ;) (It will totally look awesome!)

Sad news tho...I broke my hand last monday saved a slap shot from a 3 year older boy but the shot broke my arm lol. So i must go with a gypsum for 4 weeks. So no modding in 4 weeks...Doubt the case will be back in that amount of time, but i hope it will!

This project may take time but the result will be awesome! Just wait for it! ;)

I hope you have enjoyed your summer and hope everything goes good with school,work etc.
