The ring in the res is a nice idea, but while the ring lay in the water, it was not on a chain. In fact the ring was never put on a chain until it came into the possession of Frodo for it's journey to Mount Doom. I'd lay the ring at the bottom not on a chain and highlight it with more light at the bottom. It would also look more true to the books and movies if the liquid was light green and not red.

Well i can test but i think it would look best that way. Light green? Could you show me an example?

The actual water color is just a slightly milky clear, but the algae on the bottom give a slight greenish cast to this scene. You could also just use a small amount of white to try to match it, but I think a few drops of green will be a nice addition and be reminiscent of the algae on the stream bottom.

Oh, i see your point! But the resorvor is more to fit the whole theme. I'm wanting people to get the feeling "Sauron has the ring" Defiantly not defeated.

Update

Welcome back to the Cosmos 2 Sauron LOTR case mod!

This project has taken more time that i have expected it to take almost to much time!
So i'm currently going to do so much that i can do and it is expected that this project should be done within a months time!

I feel really useless with not updating so much and i'll hope i will be better at it now!

My sponsor DMfineArts which is a really good guy at painting have showed me some more artwork of the build!

What do you guys think?

I really like it and the result will be stunning, can't wait to customize the loop and modify the case when it gets back in my hands again!

I hope that everyone has had a a wonderful break from job,school etc and wishing you the best for 2015!

Update!

Hello!

Hope that all of you are doing well, a new update for you so you can take a look at the newest pictures for this build. I'm still eager for getting my hands on the case again and fix the minor details.

Here is the pictures and tell me what you think!

I'm still waiting for my friend to see if we are able to fix a customised top panel. What am i thinking of the top to look like? Well, i want to show something that represent sauron and that are looking freaking good. For those of you who have seen The Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship of The Ring, in the beginning you can hear Galadriel speak of the One Ring and how Sauron betrayed the 7 dwarf lords and the 9 great Kings of men.

So take a look at the shoulders, what do you think? I'm thinking of the the shoulders placed like the Alienware Aurora so it will be like 5 "shoulders" on the top panel.

How i want the shoulders to be placed like!

That's everything for now and please tell me what you think about the build for now and also about the shoulders, do you think something else should be better? Give me your opinion!

Update-More pictures of the Awesome airbrush etc.

Hey guys! Welcome back to a new update for my awesome Sauron-Project

Since the last update Dennis(DMFineArts which the most of you recognize him of) have done a lot work with the case and the airbrush is insane! The airbrush should be done within the two weeks, then it's time for the final airbrush and doing the finish of the case!

In my opinion i love the case for the more work Dennis does! It looks incredible!

What do you guys think? That's done for Dennis within this update but we are not quietly done!

I have taken the opportunity to get a lot of working this summer and it is awesome to tell you that i have bought a Intel Core i7 3960X Extreme Edition and 8 DDR3 CL7 1066Mhz RAM and also the awesome Gigabyte X79S-UP5-WIFI!

What my work on these parts right now is that i have "painted" the motherboard cooler and made it brown/dark so it looks a bit rusty just like Saurons armor!

So the specs at this moment is

3960X
8xCL7 DDR3 1066Mhz
GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI
2X470s
120gb SSD
och vattenkylt såklart

I have a lot of things ahead of me and i'm looking forward to it!

I'm going to fix the sleeve to the PSU and to my new headset and the other cables etc!

Something that i have in mind is that i'm having this idea that i should watercool the RAM to but i don't really know. Any other ideas?

Some last words for this update.
Even if you guys think that this project has been slow which is has but my opinion in modding computers have changed, I love the hobby, I really do! I want to do things at It's best possibly way! I don't wanna rush things out and get a halfway good project instead of an awesome project like this! So what I'm trying to say is that doing airbrush takes time, especially for Dennis(DMFineArts) but don't forget that this is a sponsored project and he is doing this while he got a spare time over, he's doing things nice and slowly just the way i like it and i hope you guys start seeing the result just like I do!
