Sorry don't know if this has been asked yet or not but does it come with a free modem or do you have to pay for it/buy one seperately?

EDIT: sorry just looked at the website and found out that its seperate.

I spok to ADSL4Less this morning and they have promised me my MAC by tomorrow evening.

I'll belive it when I see it, but I can hope - the sooner I got away the better, the performance at the moment is rubbish.

my migration was painless - asked for mac key and got it :)

and yeh Simon is really helpful, I have had no problems with IDnets connection atall, no drops or any thing totally solid :) - Recomended to every one reading about it on the forum who is interested!! - how could you miss out??

seems like ages ago i moved over to IDnet - it was only monday :P and this thread keeps growing..

My advice: Sign up to IDnet now !!! - theres no catches atall and iam happeh

and they better not be giving away free modems aswell!!

otherwise i want one!!

Do idnet support migrating away as well as in? Judging from the praise I probaby wouldn't want to leave, but it helps to keep options open.

I got my MAC code from Boltblue yesterday and passed it across to IDNet today. In 5 days time I'll be surfing @ 2mbps UNINTERRUPTED!! Thanks for the great deal chaps..

Can I have some rep points please? I really want some.

Hi folks just wondering how long it will take for a new activation. thanks

If you mean to have a line activated for broadband, it should be less than a week (depends on BT). I can find out for certain if you like?

Hi XMS, yes I will be interested to know how long a new activation takes on my BT line. Thanks in advance.

ptw - as XMS said it can take less than a week depending on how busy BT are - how ever if it is a migration then BT say 5working days and no sooner.

If you contact Simon at IDnet (if your willing to go ahead) and say this is your first broadband connection he will do the rest - i.e arrange for an engineer to enable your line - its a hassle free process and theres not alot to worry about.

i'm interested. just joined. can't pm xms tho.... it keeps saying i'm not allowed to access that page. . .

you ned 20 constructive posts anyway, how about you get those and then we will see about gettig in touch with XMS.
