Is it also free for new registrations as well as migrations ??

Can my friends get this same price too, or is it only available to members of this forum ??

Thanks for your help,

As you are asking for ADSL customers would it be ok to link to this thread from my racing forum?

Also do you know if Idnet support reverse dns?

To answer your first question: Yeah, go ahead! This is a publicly listed forum, the more people that know about it the better.

To answer your second question: We'll need someone other than myself to answer that one :)

Its only available to members of the forum with 25+ posts. Get your friends to check out idnet.net in the next few days, they will have an updated price list then :)

What's the score? Have I got to make 25 posts on here in order to qualify? Sounds a bit erm... daft, but hey, if that's what they want!

Yes you need 25+ posts. This is because the offer is only available to people that contribue to the SysXtreme forums.

We also ask that you tell friends/family if you are happy with IDNet's service.

Absolutely. Of course I'll refer as many people as possible if the service is good.

Y'know I'm looking to change ISP's right about now. I'd just like to try and do it over the next day or two. Boltblue have agreed to send my MAC code across and waive my 12 month contract, which was very fair of them bearing in mind I was only 3 months into it! They've been a really good ISP, but the line quality has been pretty poor recently, I'm almost sorry to be leaving them.

I'll keep on plugging away with the posts, I think!

I need some advice about overclocking my Qbic, but I think I'm going to run into a dead end....

They were pretty cool about it. I suppose you can't hold a customer to a contract if they've had major problems with the service. If I was just trying it on, then they (quite rightly) could have told me to "sling my hook"......

Only 4 more posts to go!!! Whoopee.........

I must be one of the most prolific posters of information on the site today!!! It's like one big brain dump of 13 years IT sales experience!

BTW... I'm thinking of adding some links from my work web page http://www.totis.co.uk we supply spare parts for PC's, and would like to give customers the chance to join forums like this. We're getting between 300 - 500 visitors a day currently. What do you think?

Ta,

Damian

p.s. this wasn't meant to be a shameless plug for our site, I really think there's some mileage in this? Who should I speak to, to organise some links?

Hi there, just to clarify, the ppl talking about things being capped yu were talking about pipex right?

Also since migration is free, roughly how long would the migration take? will there be downtime?

And how reliable is IDnet as a company, i havent heard of them before.

@DamianScott: I think that we would be very happy to add your site as an affiliate as long as we're all linked up :)

XMS is the best man to talk to: xms (at) mailxtreme (dot) com

Good work :D

@ Korma2

IDNET's offer is not capped. By all accounts (a lot of people I know have it) IDNET are a great company with excellent customer service. They are VERY customer focused

Unsure of migration but I'm assuming that its the usual 20-30mins downtime like most ISP's :)

I have got my migration date whoo hoo monday the 5th of december cant wait. I work bad shifts and havent been able to to come on much lately so i might have missed this already but idnet have given me the migration confirmed the 14.95 offer and even sent me login details for when everything moves over. Why havent they asked for payment details yet???

They just want to make sure that everything goes ok with the migration i would imagine.

No point in charging you until everything is up and running ;)
