Whats the point

Of arguing over cars in different class?

"Oh well you can go fast in a straight line but we got you on the corners!!"

"Oh yea we can slide around those corners what now?"

"Oh yea well if i put as much money into my straight line car as you do your corners and drifters i can do both!! What now?"

"We will just stuff a V16 in our car and take the corners faster!"

"We will hop up our 4 bangers even more and put an even louder titanium plated exaust!!"

Arg, i love cars but the bickering is pointless :(

Oh and dont forget the random guy that brings up NASCAR. "I bet i can take 248 circles faster than you with my V6":worship::nono:

People cant accept the fact that, IMO;

American muscle cars can handle fine but not as well as the japanese cars can, its obvious because the muscle cars are built for straight line power and not cornering ability.

No japanese fanboy can face the fact that some things are better than his hyundai.

Although, when we start to move up to the faster japanese cars, things equal out. For example, Skylines and Evos and all that stuff.

EDIT - You do know this topic will turn into a full-out japanese vs american muscle dont you? :p

I see where PP is coming from.. I love cars myself, more into Classic muscle/stylish cars myself.

Can I turn this into a rant? - I HATE STUPID EXHAUSTS! Makes you sound like a complete prat. I want to hear the real rawr of the engine not some attempt.

Personally I love muscle cars and classics and I love the sound of a thumping great V8. That being said there are some mightily fast four/six bangers and rice burners out there, but do have a soft spot for the gas guzzlers.

Hyundai is Korean buddy. I used to own an 04 Tiburon GT V6. And no the point is me bashing the flame wars against the 3 types. The Euro cars are in there too. I just think its rediculous for people to have flame wars over 3 compeltely different types of cars. I my personal favorite is classic American muscle but i like all 3 for different reasons. The Tiburon, not being Jap but still in Ricer class, has been the most fun i had had with a car in a long time. With its FWD i could power slide around alot of corners. I sold that thing with barely any Ebrake left lmao. Thats not something i can do with a Mustang of sort. But the whole point of my thread is bashing the flame wars.

IMO each type of car is better suited to certain countries. For example -

Jap Cars are better suited to the UK which is full of roundabouts and twisty country lanes. Price of petrol is also totally stupid in the UK, making a 2 litre turbocharged jap car much cheaper to run than a USA muscle car.

Muscle cars are better suited to the country they originated from. Plenty of straight roads, cheap petrol..etc

I personally love them both :yumyum:

If i could id own a Shelby GT500 and an RX8 myself but with the roads i live on the RX8 would bottom out with every pot hole lmao. I just dont get the point of people flame waring over different classes of cars. And Jimbo to us here in the US 4 bucks a gallon is pretty high considering it was under 2.50 2 years ago. But i feel ya on that one. Thats why my 68 Mustang has a 200cu straight 6.

TBH its prolly about 10yrs since I last went to the US, so my idea of ur prices needs updating a bit :p U still got cheaper trainers (sneekers?) than us tho right?

I wouldnt have a clue lol. Ive only recently bought 2 pairs of shoes. One pair my Sophmore year (2003) and one pair my JR year (2004) and i still wear those same shoes today. They both cost me 60 bucks when i bought them.

But in the UK it`s more like $8+ a gallon PP. lol
Everything is like double over there anyway though so that seems kinda normal.

Was a recent top 10 listed of gas prices across the world. The top was some exotic place @ around $18. Then the rest of the list was like 11, 9,9,8,8,8...

Mexico is like $2.50 >.<

I personally like most cars, although Jap/German cars are my fav (Aston's counting as German??) 'cause they drive well on our windy roads :D

Our fuel works out at around $10.50 gal now. It is better quality than in the US and most other places though
