What SSD to get

Well my ocz vertex 2 died going to take a while for a ram since im in oz so i was looking at getting Intel SSD 120GB 330 Series, or Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SSD What do use think get my gear from http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=210_902

so if use see anything better for around the same price let me know

What's your budget? I have the Corsair Force 3 and it has been fantastic for the 9 months I've had it (touch wood). It would be a fantastic choice. Other SSD's people usually recommend include the Crucial M4, the Kingston Hyper X or the Intel SSD's. I only have experience with the Corsair Force 3 SSD, so that's the only one I can really recommend.

Disagree with FTR - stay away from OCZ. Just because they give you the peace of mind with the 5 year warranty, doesnt mean what they're selling you is going to work. I think, it's just an effort to attempt to claim back some market reputation after their horrors from poorly made, unreliable SSDs in the past.

Crucial M4s are so much more reliable, and in 4K performance (the speeds that actually matter in Windows programs) they are as good, if not better than the competitors. Also, they're very well priced.

I'm gonna have to disagree with this. OCZ PSU's are terrible, and so too were their OLD SSD's, but their new ones are completely fine imo. The Vertex 4 looks great and should defo be considered, but obviously there's loads of great SSD's out there such as Corsair Force 3, Muskin Chronos, Kingston HyperX etc... so you got a lot of choices, which is always good

I dont know really. From my experience, I've had an OCZ Agility 3 - which broke in 2 months, and an OCZ 750w PSU thats kept on going for 3 years without any problems whatsoever, and it does feel really well made if I'm honest. Tbf, I did only buy it because at the time I though OCZ were really good...

But I admit that comment may have been a bit harsh, and the new Vertex 4s may be really good, but they've been out a month, and I'd want to give it at least 6 months to see if they develop problems before I got one myself. It just seems like an unneeded risk to me, it's not like they're going to be a million times better than an M4, so I'd rather just give them a miss.

I do agree that spec wise the Vertex 4s do look really good, but so to did their Agility 3s, and we both know how they turned out. I just think it is too soon to tell whether they're worth buying, and because of that, I'd still want to avoid them.
