What happened to my WUs?

Was happily folding on my new rig, earning WUs and points. Then all of a sudden the WUs and points stopped. Was still folding and completing jobs, but no credit for the work. Looked at the Gromacs screen and saw that the user and team names had changed to: anonymous and team was 0. I looked at my config and everything was OK. So....what gives? And how can I fix?

Like all folding bugs with an attitude,think you will have to uninstall all clients,and reinstall again

If you are using the GPU tracker I would suggest going back to the old manual config.....

If you are not using the tracker ignore what I said

If this is related to Linux pray for someone to help as I have zero knowledge there

It is Linux related. Guess I'd better start praying, huh? Or admit I have no spine

and holler for one of you-know-who's friends to fix it; the one who set it all up for me initially.

If you can get someone over to fix it, I'd recommend going back to Windows and running with the GPU Tracker, it's a really nice easy way to both configure and monitor your Clients.

The machine I'm folding on is Linux. It's the one I bought specifically for folding. The old (Windows) machine is a single core job that can't fold like the new one. I'll go to the Stanford site and see if I can't figure it out for myself-- if I can't then I'll ask Fro to drop by next time he's in town....he can set it up again.

Time I learned, right?

Back to folding again.

Just a minor tweak to get the thing to run in terminal. Got two jobs done overnight. Didn't get many points, but got 2 more WUs. That's something at least. Thanx fellow folders for your encouragement.
