Waterblocks for non-reference 670's

Hi all, doing LOTS of research ATM into what rig i am getting etc etc at the end of the year, and i have decided on SLI 670's non reference, i don't mind paying the little extra for the OC versions.

Anyways i am struggling to find any water blocks for the cards anywhere. anyone got any pointers as to where to look please? I'm UK based if that helps

Many thanks in advance

Suppose it'd help if i added which card i was directly thinking of getting

ASUS GTX 670 directCU II

Which cards specifically? Waterblock manufacturers dont usually make the waterblocks for non-reference cards for quite a long time after the cards have been released?

If you're looking at the gigabyte windforce version though, then I believe that uses the 680 pcb, meaning the 680 waterblock will fit.

If you're watercooling anyway, can i ask why you're going for non-reference? It's not like you'll benefit from the cooler or anything, or are you just looking at the pcb that puts you off?

No it doesnt. far from it. Try checking your info NOT guessing.

Why do you specifically want that version of the 670? Surely you'd be happy with a reference pcb? It will overclock very well (I don't recall seeing the ASUS overclocking better - with gpus the silicon lottery is eve more important from I've seen) and you don't need to be looking for an aftermarket cooler.

Getting the 680s seems a little bit ott just to water cool them (they aren't THAT much better, certainly not £100 each better).

I don't NEED to get them at all, I just haven't found any 670 WB but see that EK have some "coming soon" which is fine by me as not needing them till Xmas anyways.

I dont wanna go spending the extra money if i dont have to as it means i get to spend more on the important things. i just wanna know that im going into this whole hearted and not missing anything

Well I know that the EVGA gtx 670 FTW fits an EK 680 block and so does the Gigabyte Wind Force GV-N670OC 2GD. I haven't looked through all the manufacturers so there could be more. That's according to cooling configurator.

Ok thanks for your help, i'll note that down on my spreadsheet and look into it a little further, probably even give them a ring but didnt wanna be sold a lie as i know some manufactures do this just to get a "sale"

The Zotac GeForce GTX 670 AMP! Edition (ZT-60302-10P) is another one that fits a 680 block.

ALL wf cards are custom PCB's

Found that out the hard way lol

Just for anyone looking back on this thread.
TTL is wrong. Using a 670 wf with a 680 block on the computer I am typing this with.

Don't use capitals and act like you are definite when you are clearly the one who has no facts on it. I expect better from someone who is a professional. Be a role model on these forums and get off your high horse.

Yup the Zotac, Gigabyte windforce and EVGA FTW has 680 pcb's. I am right in saying you would still be covered by EVGA's warranty if you watercooled the card? (I can't remember exactly). If so, i'd go for the EVGA.
