It all started when I finished the Titanium bike and a friend asked "Where do you get these frames from?"
I then looked on Ebay. Bad idea.
It's a trap, don't do it !
What it is is a 2012 Pinarello Treviso. For £45. It is new, and unpainted. Basically these bikes were so expensive they would send them out like that to be painted in custom or team colours. Any way I bought it. It would have looked like this.
Now before you think I am crazy (Hint, I am) there is a reason for this. Gears. I want gears.
I also wanted it to be cheap, so I went to Ali Express.

OK time to work. Wet sand with P600. Most of it was already done for me. Then steel wool soap pad. Then clean, well, and etch
Then white base coat.
Before Pineapple Passion Pearls. And lots of 2k clear coat.
Draw main frame decals.
Buy erm "Chain protectors.. Honest !" for £3 a pair.
Return home to hunt for parts. Find seat.
Bought that in 2017 for £10 for a BMX, never looked right so never used it. Get very nice surprise.
